Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Past child support

I live in KS and my ex lives in TX. He has not been paying child support and was served by the courts. Could you tell me what the steps are that are taken if he refuses to pay? I am looking for a timeline of procedures and what those procedures are. Thank you.

Re: Past child support

I don't know which state issued the original order for child support, but generally, his pay check can be garnished for the child support. You may need to file a motion in the court. The court may be able to assist you with the enforcement of child support.
