Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

paternity and custody suit brought out of Texas

Father is bringing suit in Mississippi to establish paternity and for custody. I never lived in Mississippi, lived in Alabama. Child never in Mississippi. Moved to Texas in mid July.

Do I have to get an attorney in Mississippi or can Texas attorney represent me?

I'd start by consulting with a local family law attorney. You're welcome to call my office and set up a consultation.
