Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

paternity establishment by birth certificate alone

My sons mother (was living with me for 5 years but not related by marraige)who made to leave house took my son during a visit and took off to an undisclosed location. she had been living at another address for thirty days. haven't heard from them in thirty days + since she took him. Paternity suit filed (harris county)and investigator hired. can not find her(hiding). she suffers from emotional problems(depression etc.) and won't stay on meds(reason for leaving). I am the father of record on birth certificate. son was in my physical custody when abduction took place.made every reasonable effort to contact her family. no response. can i be temporarily adjudicated? father or such? What other recourse do i have if she continues to hide.Isn't she violateing his rights under childrens bill of rights? How can I use the court to compel her to return?how do I establish custody under these circumstances?

If you have a paternity suit filed in Harris Co., your lawyer should be answering these questions for you. If you don't have a lawyer and have these questions, then it is obvious you need a lawyer if you want to protect your interest in your child.
