Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Paternity

I just have a simple question that pertains to which court i would petition for a court ordered paternity test. My husband's ex fiance will not consent to one, but is ''sure'' that it is his, he just wants to know for sure and she will not allow it. The child was concieved in MN, and he is from WI, however she no longer lives in MN she moved to TX with the airforce, does her domicile then move to TX with her or because she is Stationed with the air force does her domicile technically still remain in MN?? Or are there different laws completly with those whom are relocated with the forces?? Thank you soooo much for your help!

A hopeful customer

Re: Paternity

As a member of US military, her residence remains where she lived. Petition can be made in MN for a paternity test to obtain a court order. That order would be enforceable in TX where she would be required to give DNA to determine paternity. This would likely cost about $800-&900 for the test plus legal fees of perhaps 2x that amount - maybe a little more.
