Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I need a paternity test done but the courts wont grant me one because i had signed the certificate of birth. I want to make sure that my daughter is mine because her mother and i split up. I need some help on what to do to get a paternity test, the paperwork(if needed) and how i can get the courts to recognize the test if it comes back negative?

Signing the birth certificate application does not establish paternity. If you siged a formal Acknowledgement of Paternirt which was properly filed with the Dept. of Health in Austin, then paternity has already been established. There are some grouds for revoking the acknowledgement, but there are time deadlines. I would be glad to discuss this matter further with you if you would contact me directly.
