Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Permanent injunction for personal harassment

I have been divorced for almost two years and have since remarried. My divorce was finalized in Florida. I have not been able to tell my ex-wife (living in Florida) to stop contacting me via phone, e-mail, etc and to stop making harassing phone calls to my wife. Is there something that I can file in the court in Texas that can order her to stop further contact? Does this fall under family law or can this be done under civil law? Thanks for your help.

Re: Permanent injunction for personal harassment

You certainly can obtain a permanent injunction against your ex for harrassing your family. Depending upon the nature of the calls, they might also be in violation of federal criminal laws. If you want my assistance in this matter, contact me by e-mail.
