Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

personal belonging

I was married only 4 months. My wife is a drug addict and assaulted me. I had the police remove her (I did not press charges.) She came back for some of her clothes (with the police present), but left a closet full of clothes plus a chest-of-drawers. She is no longer on the apartment lease where we lived. How do I compel her to come get her other belongings? I filed for divorce on 8/18/08.

You will need to take care of her belongings until the court rules on the property issues. If you want faster results, you would need to ask your attorney to set a Temporary Hearing to resolve issues of property while the case is still pending.
