Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Personal Jurisdiction & Child Support

Court signed default order and awarded custody based on subject matter jurisdiction.

Could not get a support award orderd due to personal jurisdiciton laws.

If there is a motion to vacate the order, or appeal the order by the other party, does that open the door and make them vunerable to personal jurisdiction?

I apologize if I am wrong, but I think you have posted several different questions on this one basic issue, with several different concerns.

If I am right, I hope you have a lawyer. You are dealing with complex legal issues that affect the entirety of the proceedings. If the other party has a predated special exception plea to the jurisdiction, then that protects that party in proceedings which follow, which do not waive that plea.
