Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
Phone visitation
On our child visitation decree, it is laid out that my exhusband has the right to call the children at 8:00 Sunday evenings. It is not layed out for me at all. Do I automatically get the same right if they are with him at his residence? And all I have been provided is a cell phone number in place of his home phone number because he says he no longer has one. The cell phone number actually belongs to his wife, and if she is traveling, I am without a number to gain contact to my children or him. What is the law on this? The decree states we are to provide each other with our home numbers.Thank you for help.

Re: Phone visitation
It seems that your decree is very specific in some areas, and this situation has arisen which causes some confusion. If you and your ex cannot resolve this on your own, then you will have to go back to court on either a Motion for Clarification or Modification, depending on the situation. An attorney in your county can handle this for you. TCL
