How can I tell if I have a good lawyer for a divource case and what should he or she do to prepare me for a preliminary orders hearing?

Re: Picking a Lawyer

If you have already retained counsel, then you need to trust your attorney.

If you are looking to hire an attorney, I'm not exactly sure what you are asking.

Each case is unique and should be treated as such.

I don't think my response is very helpful but I don't know the facts in your case and therefore cannot comment.
