Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

The plain truth

My wife is asking me to sign a waiver of citation. Stating it is needed to stop the child support garnishment since, we are not getting a divorce. Is the waiver necessary, or is she trying to trick me into giving her a simple no fault divorce?

Trick or Treat! I thought Halloween was over! She is not telling you the truth.

Instead of a WAIVER OF SERVICE -- I suggest that you file an ASNWER -- a document that is free to file at the courthouse that lets the Judge know that you want to be kept informed about your divorce and what is happening. I charge $25 to sell you this form and tell you what you need to do.

I charge $150 for an hour consultation. If nothing else, it will give you peace of mind about what is happening in your divorce.

You need to talk to an attorney ASAP. There are many excellent attorneys on this website.
