Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
I plan on moving out of Texas in the near future. I am divorced and have custody of our child. The divorce papers state I cannot live outside of mclenan county. What can I do about resolving this issue?

You have to either get the other parent to sign an agreement that you can move OR you have to file a Petition to Modify the Parent-Child Relationship and convince the judge to let you move.
If you move without doing either of those things, you can face criminal charges, contempt of court, and jail time.
