Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Poa

My mother just passed on yesterday and I am already catching it from my twin. According to her,mom made her POA, mom asked me mths ago did I want the house. I said yes. Today my sister asked for a key and said her attorney wanted to know when she would get it and I wanted to know what are my rights as being here if she is POA . She is married with a home to live in . I'm divorced and mom asked me if I wanted this, so why did she say her atty. wants to know when she gets a key and can she just come here doing things when I reside here and it is half mine?

A Power of Attorney (POA) dies at the same time its maker does. It has nothing to do with what happens to the property after your mother's death. You really need to talk to a probate attorney. Should like neither you or your sister know what to do or how to do it.
