Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

The police asked my girlfriend to press assault charges against me, she refused . Not long after that child protective services showed up. After a long list of allegations, all were dismissed but charges against me for emotional abuse. They never interviewed the children and ignored the mothers statement that no type of abuse had ever happened to the children. They told her in to comply with them that she had to sign a paper stating that I was not allowed at the house. She of coarse did so because she thought that it was the only way to keep her children. Is what they did legal? And how do i go about reuniting my family as soon as possible ?

You need to hire a lawyer. It sounds like your girlfriend filed a protective order or a criminal tresspass letter. Your attorney will need to review what you signed to figure out what can be done.
