Power of Attorney
I am getting divorce and my ex spouse & I don't get along, he wants to get power of attorney with regards to to our house and selling it. What does that mean and what are the advatanges of giving him power of attorney. Once i sign a divorce decree, can I have it amended later or not.

Do not sign a power of attorney for the house. You will give him all authority over the sale of the house. When you finally get an accounting, the proceeds could be gone. You cna't get blood from a turnip.
If the court has not signed the decree, then file a revocation, advising the court that you wish to revoke your agreement. He may be able to contractually bind you to the agreement, but the court will not approve it as an agreed order.
