Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

pre-nup

Is there anything specificially required to be on a pre-nup? I hired a attorney to prepare one before marriage, cost 800. It was signed, notarized, witnessed. When I divorced my new attorney said that my prenup wasn't worth the paper it was written on and I lost everything. Is that legal for an attorney to charge for services not enforceable? Is that attorney liable for my situation? Can I sue the attorney? What can be done?

Re: pre-nup

You can go to the State Bar of Texas website and look up how to file a grevience against a Texas attorney.

Based on your limited facts, I can't tell you if your first attorney was incompetent.
