prenuptial agreement

we sign a pre nup, without an attorney prescence. If something happens to my husband (death or any other ) how am I protected financially?

Impossible to say. It depends upon the terms of your prenup, and whether or not it is an enforceable document.

I strongly urge you to pay an attorney and meet with them about your particular situation.

Spending a couple of hundred now could save you thousands in the future.

Also, based on your limited facts no responsible attorney could answer your question.

I learned in law school that you can be sued by any one, at any time for any reason. You are then required to defend yourself. You will most likely win but you will have to appear in a court and defend yourself.
