Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I presented in court today without legal council. The judge ordered my ex-husband's lawyer to draft a temporary order to keep him from having access to our children until he can present in court from being in a mental health and drug rehab. His lawyer drafted some papers that mention all the rights and duties of the sole managing conservator (me) and the temporary possesory conservator (him). I am trying to find out if that will give him a loophole to have access to the kids.

You need to pay an attorney to review the order for you. Many attorneys, including my firm, will review an order for a fixed fee and let you know what loopholes or ambiguities, if any, are in there.

On the face of what you are saying, it sounds like the other attorney headed down the right path, but whether there are any loopholes is an issue that can only be determined by examining every word of the proposed order.

Good luck!!
