Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
I have primary custody of my daughter. Her father is incarcerated. He was not incarcerated the first 6 months of her life. He was not active in her life those 6 months. The CS order states I have to lo live in Dallas county and surrounding counties. I want to relocate to San Antonio. I have family support in San Antonio to assist with childcare so I can pursue school as well as work. How would I go about to petition for relocation?

I assume that the wording states if "non-custodial parent moves then the residency restriction is lifted". If so, you can move. If you have any questions, talk to a family law attorney in your county and have the attorney read your court order.
