privacy laws

my husbands ex wife has been searching for my computers ip address and calling my past employment places trying to ask when I work there. Is any of this illegal and if so what can I do to stop her. ?

Sounds like an invasion of privacy. Certainly employers are not supposed to disclose this information, but sometimes the clerks who answer these calls can be deceived. Might want to get a TRO and permanent injunction if you have the proof (documents and testimony) of your claims.
