Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
Pro Se Divorce
I have already filed a petition for divorce and given the papers to my spouse. He in return filed the papers back with the court citing no contest (he doesn't want a divorce). The court can not give me any infomation on what the next step should be, where do I need to go?

If you don't know what to do or how to do it, you need to read up on the Texas Family Code, the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and the applicable case law. The Court is not there to tell you how to proceed and attorneys (like those subscribing to this site) are ethically prohibited from giving you advice as to how to proceed without an attorney. Sorry.

You did not even indicate the city where you reside. If you are in the Houston area, I can assist you. If everything is agreed to, the attorney hours should be minimal. Contact me directly to find out how economically I can handle this for you.

You really need to talk to a good family law attorney. Much of what you wrote doesn't make any sense - he "filed the papers back with the court citing no contest (he doesn't want a divorce)"???
Many good family law attorney will work with you on payments.
