Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
I am doing a pro se divorce...I need help wording the decree about the house. I am currently living in the house and making the entire payment. However, I may be forced to move for work in the next couple of months leaving the house empty. Is there any way to word the decree that if I move out, my husband is responsible for half of the mortgage?

You really need to hire an attorney. You are handling fire and you are going to get burned!
If you don't do this right you are creating a mess that is going to cost you thousands of dollars to fix!
Hire an attorney now to not create a mess later that could put you into bankruptcy!
I can't believe that people buy a house & then refuse to hire an attorney to help them make sure that don't have a clean title to their real estate property.
Also, you need to make sure that you file the right paperwork with the County real estate property records or else you could have real problems later on! Again, when you pay this house off if you have not done the paperwork properly then your ex will still own the house with you & he will still get 50% of the proceeds of the sale of the house.
HIRE AN ATTORNEY NOW!
