Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

What is the process of adopting my sisters baby? Shes 19 yrs old and almost three months pregnant. The baby's dad is unknown since she had a one night stand. I've been married for 4 years and half and no kids of our own. What's the process of doing this legally in Texas?

The first thing you have to do is hire a good family law attorney who has experience with terminations and adoptions. The absent father's rights will have to be terminated and that is a complicated process that must be done perfectly. Any flaws would open the door to him coming back and seeking to undo the termination and adoption.
