Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I am in the process of filling out the divorce decree. My husband and I own our house and we are in the process of selling said house. We are in complete agreement on how we will handle the equity we get from the sale of the house, we will pay off debt we have incurred together then split the remaining amount. Where and how do I write this in the decree? I only see where it has that I am giving him property and vise versa.

These are not standard provisions that you will find in blank forms. In fact, it is rare for a person's situation to fit neatly into a pre-formed blank form.

If you want an enforceable decree, you will need to hire a lawyer to write it up for you, or do a great deal of studying at the law library first. The cost of preparing the decree should not be extensive.
