Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Property Rights

Texas is a community property state. My husband has placed two of the properties he owns in a ''family interest''. Our home is listed in his name only. I am not on that family interest. Do I have any right to that property when he dies?

Re: Property Rights

You need to hire a lawyer.

If he has placed your community homestead in a trust, you will have difficulty (at best) getting your share of the property.

Find out now what is going on. Don't wait until the cost of doing so could be enormous.
