protective order

can the accused on a protective order be allowed back in residence to obtain possessions? if so, how long do they have & what steps do you take?

No. Normally this issue is addressed in court during the hearing. The person under the protective order needs to get permission of the court, with details of the pickup (time, date, who is present). Depending upon the circumstances, the court can deny permission.
