Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
Protective order
My friend's ex-girlfriend filed a false protective order to prevent him from getting joint custody of their infant daughter. He can not afford counsel to represent him. What are the steps he needs to take?

Re: Protective order
If it's in criminal court, he definately needs an attorney.
If in family court, I still think he needs an attorney.
Check the greensheet. There are attorneys that don't charge a fortune!
HE REALLY, REALLY NEEDS AN ATTORNEY.
