Have you discussed this with your attorney? If you do not have an attorney, be very cautious before taking this step. It is not unusual in contested cases, for one person to get 'snowed' by the other party, and regret it later. If you are certain that your child is safe, and your spouse will abide by the possession order, he can petition the court to dissolve the protective order, and you can agree to it.
