Protective order mishaps

My ex girlfreind and I have had argument and I have never ever out my hands on her once. I moved out then was served with a protective order. If this protective order is approved then I will be kicked out of the army. I have only a few ways to prove I have not put my hands on her. one was a police officer came by one night during an argument and the second she told my boss ive never hit her. She is make some pretty serious acusations and I cannot afford the 1500 bucks I am being quoted for representation. If i do hire a lawyer can i countersue for the balance of what I do owe the lawyer? any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you ...Rickey

Re: Protective order mishaps

technically speaking, you could bring counter claims in anther court, but that would cost you more money. you better worry about succeeding in your defense if you want sray in the army.
