Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

How can I prove legal standing in a CPS case. I have been involved with the case since the child was placed in foster care. I am the child's great aunt. CPS agreed to do a home study on me and have child placed with me, which were also parents wishes. Parents both relinquished their own rights so the child could be placed with me faster. They were misled by CPS workers and attorneys. 6 months later I am still waiting for home study and now they claim I do not have legal standing. The mother of the child is also mentally disabled and was not properly represented.
