Pursuing back child support after a death-collecting thru the estate
I was divorced in 1984 and was granted child support he never pd, then he commited sucide, in our divorce it says that in the event of death I would be entitled for support thru the estate. His widow now receives ss, surviors benefits benefits my children are now grown and married.would this not be considered part of the estate.

The collection of back support will depend on how old your children are, the laws have changed in the last few years. You would not be entitled to the widow's government benefits in that your children are grown. That is only available when the children are not emancipated.
