Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

qay divorce/permanent seperation

after cohabitating in a house owned by us both, She has decided she is moving back to San Antonio to watch over her brothers children as a nanny. nnthis forces me to cooperate in selling the home I thought was forever and living a life less than I am accostomed..Do I have any recourse or rights here I have alaways maintained employment.

Under Texas law you are co-owners of the house, nothing more. You will need to cooperate in order to get the best price possible for the house, and split the proceeds.

If I understand your question correctly, your talking about a gay divorce. Since Texas doesn't recognize same sex relationships (actually it's still a crime), there is no such thing as same sex divorce. As I'm sure you're aware better than I, same sex relationships enjoy no benefits or privileges in conservative TX. Good Luck.
