Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Haven't seen this question asked

My son has not lived with his mother since late october early nov. In a phone call I was told that she coordinated a drug bust on the apartment that he had been staying in since she had thrown him out and that he was in jail. She has since cooperated with the judges and attornies to have him sent to a drug rehab in lew of jail time.In my eyes the day the child moved out my obligation to his mother ended. He took tests while in jail to graduate. He will turn 18 today. My question is would he be seen as emancipated in the courts eye the day he moved out? I have not sent March or Aprils check thinking that this over. Also do I have to go back to court to end this? As for the drug bust and rehab and not being made aware of any of this until after the fact should I be forced to pay half of the rehab. He did not show any signs to the law while in jail that he was addicted or going through with drawels. Today I get a letter from an attorny stating that I owehalf of the rehab and support until he walks to get his diploma in May. He will not be returning to school if he isallowed to leave rehab. What are my rights any ideas?
