a question about my child
my boyfriend and i have been living together for about two years and we had a child. the baby has his last name because at that time things were okay... if we were to split up what are the chances i will get my baby?

There is a proceeding called a Suit Affecting Parent-Child Relationship. The court determines what is in the child's best interest. Absent unusual circumstances, both parents are apptd joint managing conservators, and one is primary, with the right to determine the child's residence; with the other parent getting standard visitation. That parent is usually ordered to pay support, provide insurance, and pay half of the uninsured expenses.
