Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My question is that: My ex wife and I being divorce for about an year now. We have a daughter together, as the separation we sat down with a lawyer and made an agreement in front of our lawyer on the amount of child support I should pay her. We signed paper and all, and now she keep threatening to take me to court in the site of Louisiana. My question is are she allow to do that. I take extremely good care of my daughter, I have her every weekend, never late on writing her mother a check. But every week she threaten to take me to court. What can you all tell about my situation.

There are two questions in there.

FIRST: Can she take you to court? If there is no court order for child support signed by a judge, it is very easy to go to court. If she, the child, or you had experienced a material and substantial change in circumstances suggesting that a change in the child support amount would be in the child's best interest, she can take you back to court. If you have a court order for less than guideline support (calculate guidelines at www.Jdreview.com/cscalc.htm), there is a provision of the Texas Family Code that probably protects you.

SECOND: Where can she take you to court? I don't know all your facts, but it looks like she would have to take you back to court in Texas.
