Do i have to continue paying child support til my son is 23? just because he is attending college. he is 18

My ex got the court to extend child support. My son got a scholarship and has a college fund. Will be living in dorms. Can i contest this extension?

Are you absolutely sure that you've been ordered to pay child support until the child is 23?
Is he disabled in any way?
I've never heard of a court doing this.
