quit claim deed and divorce

In my divorce decree it states that in the event I ever sell my home, my ex husband receives half. The house is paid for. He signed a quit deed at the time of the divorce. Is the divorce decree enforceable over the quit claim deed?

In all probability, yes. From what you have said, he may not have a claim to the house, but he does have a claim to the proceeds of any sale.
