Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

after reading through my court orders this morning i see that it is my turn this year to have my two little ones through spring break week. i should have picked them up from their fathers yesterday at six p.m. .i went to the fathers home this a.m. to receive there not home probally gone with him out of town he does have temp custody. they children im sure feel i have failed them it was simply a oversite so many orders to read throughand their always changing. am i in trouble now or do i still have the right to get them for the rest of the week???????

The order will require Dad to surrender the children at a certain place and at a certain time. Technically, he is NOT required to surrender the children the next day, or the day after.

Call him and leave a message and ask him if you can pick them up late.

And go buy a wall calendar. Take it home and sit down with (1) it and (2) the court order, and mark down the times that you get the children.
