Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

i am getting ready to get a divorce, i have two kids a want to retain custody.

CPS has awarded them to me due to my ex overdosed back on memorial day weekend.

currently all i have as far a legal paper work is the letter by cps stating she can only visit while supervised. i have no idea where to start. we no longer live in the same house, and we have not filed for seperation as well. what can i do even if i have low means of income?

You'd file for divorce and get him served with citation.

If there's a CPS case, finalized or not, you'd ask that it be consolidated into the divorce action (which it will be).
