Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I received a supoena from an attorney in texas he sent a $10 witness fee but failed to provide the fee for the production of the records that he want me to bring. Is this supoena valid?

The lawyer will say s/he sent the check. Call the lawyer and have them send the check, then do what the subpoena says.
