Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I recently had my child support lowered because my child's father adopted a child. is this correct? Can they do this?

Yes and yes. I don't know if the amount is correct, of course, but having additional children does change the formula in such a way as to reduce child support on other children. If would have to be changed through court order, though.
