Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I recently went to court and got a divorce. A non-contested no property AT ALL no 401K no insurance together...just a plain divorce with 1 child. During the seperation I went to the attorney general and filed for child support. I did include all the child support details into the divorce (which happened about 3 years later) and my X-husbands job status had changed since I first filed for child support. I re-evaluated the child support in the divorce and got the correct amount I was supposed to get according to the law. Now the attorney general has set a mandantory hearing for me to go to court. Does this mean my lawyer missed something? I feel like I may have paid him to include the child support matter for nothing!!! I am currently not receiving child support because it is on hold. I have not received it since the divorce and I requested for my name to change back to my maiden name and that didn't happen either.

Based on what you have written, if you are still represented by counsel then you may want to consult with your attorney. If you are no longer represented by counsel, then you would need to provide more detailed information about the mandatory hearing.
