Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I was recently forced to agree to money I cannot pay, and in a time frame that does not allow for me to acquire the funds. We are broke right now. The court said If I dont pay this amount I will be incarcerated until it is paid. How? nobody will pay it and my wife and I do not have these funds. Here is the breakdown:

Hi, Mr. Allen --

Please be reminded that, in accordance with the agreement reached yesterday afternoon and in accordance with Judge Tucker's subsequent Court Order, you must make each of the following payments in a timely manner in order to not go to jail:

� $1,000.00 payment toward child support arrearage -- July 31, 2015;

� $500.00 payment toward attorney's fees -- August 1, 2015;

� $444.00 payment of current child support obligation -- August 8, 2015;

� $25.00 payment of current cash medical support obligation -- August 8, 2015;

� $4,554.54 payment toward child support arrearage -- August 14, 2015;

� $500.00 payment toward attorney's fees -- September 1, 2015;

� $444.00 payment of current child support obligation -- September 8, 2015;

� $25.00 payment of current cash medical support obligation -- September 8, 2015;

� $500.00 payment toward attorney's fees -- October 1, 2015;

� $444.00 payment of current child support obligation -- October 8, 2015;

� $25.00 payment of current cash medical support obligation -- October 8, 2015;

� $500.00 payment toward attorney's fees -- November 1, 2015;

� $444.00 payment of current child support obligation -- November 8, 2015;

� $25.00 payment of current cash medical support obligation -- November 8, 2015;

� $444.00 payment of current child support obligation -- December 8, 2015;

� $25.00 payment of current cash medical support obligation -- December 8, 2015;

� $500.00 payment toward attorney's fees -- January 1, 2016;

� $444.00 payment of current child support obligation -- January 8, 2016; and

� $25.00 payment of current cash medical support obligation.

Please be advised that you must comply with all orders of the Court and pay all current child support payments in full on or before the date due each month (the 8th day of each month).

Please be advised that if you fail and/or refuse to the make each of the payments in the amounts and on time as ordered by the Court, you will be committed to confinement in the Collin County Jail and you will remain in the Collin County Jail until you pay all payments in full.

Mr. Allen, I strongly encourage you to make each and every payment in a timely manner and as ordered by the Court. Otherwise, you will go to jail.

First, you should not be posting this private information (amounts and your full name) on a public website. Second, was this sent your attorney or opposing counsel? Unfortunately, if an Agreed Order was entered, it is going to be very very difficult to undo. You agreed to it, and presumably, no one had a gun to your head. If this is your attorney, get in that attorney's office today and attempt to modify this order. If you do not have an attorney, then you just learned why it's important to have one. Get one today. Alone, it is unlikely that you are going to be able to undo this.
