Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I was recently married in January the house we are renting is owned by his older brother my husband hss left me however we have a year lease and the water bill is in my name his family is tryin to throw me out what are my options and I want to file for divorce

Do you have a written rental agreement? If so, everyone will need to follow it.

If you are living there month to month, then they will need to legally evict you through a court proceeding.

It appears that there would be no children or property since you married. If so, you can download the free divorce forms that were approved in 2013 by the Supreme Court of Texas. You can find these free Texas forms on www.texaslawhelp.org
