Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I was recently married and am planning to change my name but I don't want to have the record made public for safety reasons. Is it possible to change my name under sealed record in Texas? What is the process for doing so?

Thanks!

Marriage licenses are public records.

In order to change your name take proof of your marriage to the Social Security Office then once you get a new ss card take it to TX DPS and get a new driver's license.

A name change signed by a judge should be unnecessary.

PS - TX driver's license info is also public records and very easily found on-line.

It's hard to keep a marriage or a name change secret.
