Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I recently just got married and i have a son from a previous relationship, my husband would like to adopt my son and his biological father is willing to give up his rights. what forms do i need to fill out or what procedures do i need to go through to get it done?

You really should not attempt this on your own. This is a termination and adoption, and involves rights and duties of three adults, and the welfare of your son for many years. Although you have a right to represent yourself, it is not a good idea for this type of case. Since all parties are in agreement, the attorney fees should be reasonable, and will be worth every penny.

If you represent yourself, you will need to go to the courthouse law library to research the procedures and documents necessary to start the process.
