Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I have been recently named as the father of a 16 yr old girl in TX. She has using her mother's last name. her mother wants to change her name to her now married name. She sent me court papers to sign saying that I am allowing for her daughter's name to be changed. her lawyer says that this is not a paternity action. The has been no patenity established and no support order for the entire time. My question is:

Will I be admitting that I'm the father if I sign the papers?

We I be legally responsible for child support?

If you are not the bio. dad then you have no legal standing to allow her to change her last name.

I would not sign anything without talking to a lawyer!
