Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I recently recieved a copy of the petition for divorce, along with a waiver of service, that my husband filed on 11/4/2011. I do not want the divorce and do believe that are differences and struggles may be resolvable by means of counseling; however, he is opposed to the idea and has hired an attorney to represent him. My most immediate concern is whether or not it would be in my better interest to sign the waiver or to file an "answer" with the county clerk. Furthermore, I would like guidance with regards to what my options, if any, are. Also, is there anything at all that I can do, or not do, to delay the process such as to request mandated marital counseling via the court? Thank you in advance.

Texas is a no fault divorce state. If your husband wants a divorce, he will get one.

You need to hire an attorney to help you with the options that are available to you.
