Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Are recordings made without consent for building a divorce case...

Are recordings that are made without someones consent admissable in court? For example, between a wife and an ex-wife talking about the manner of a husband- if it is unknown to the other party- is it admissable? And also- if counseling sessions are held between the husband and wife- can those sessions topics be used for ones benefit to build a case?

If one party to the recording is aware and consents to the recording, and is available to testify as to the authenticity of the recording, then it might be admissible.

Counseling session may or may not be admissible. It might be privileged.
