refinance

hi.

i just got divorced, and my ex was granted with the house,is there a way that i can force her to refinance the house, or what can i do to take my name out of the loans?

These are serious concerns that should have been addressed prior to the entry of the decree. If it has not been 30 days, you may want to examine if it is possible to set it aside, in order to deal with this. Mortgage companies, generally, do not allow a party off of the loan. If the order does not provide for refinancing, and alternatives, then you cannot force it. If she is responsible for the mortgage, then you should have recourse if it is not paid.
